Alicia Danielle Abney, 24, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, January 19th, 2022. She was born August, 12th 1997 in Indianapolis to her parents, Tim Abney and the late Amanda Ward where she lived for most of her life. Alicia is survived by her father, Tim Abney and step-mom, Adriana Poore of Indianapolis; her paternal grandfather, Ralph Abney of Smiths Grove, KY; three brothers: Erik Wilburn, Christopher Poore, and Nicholas Poore; one sister, Amanda Johnson; and one niece, Kinslee Wilburn. Alicia is preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Ward; maternal grandfather, Roland Ward; maternal grandmother, Diane Reffitt; and her paternal grandmother, Hilda Jones. Alicia was a 2015 graduate of George Washington High School. She had an eye for shoes and collected Jordan's throughout the years. She loved spending time with her dogs, Dozer and Kela, and her family. Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, January 21st at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 1 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
