Obituary for Wilma Lorene "Lori" Hilbert
Wilma Lorene "Lori" (Jacobs) Hilbert, 82, of Camby, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023. She was born May 19th, 1940 in Hollywood, Alabama to her parents Herman L. and Stella L. (Payne) Jacobs. She married the late Ralph R. Hilbert on April 19th, 1960.
Lori is survived by her two sons, Andrew J. (Debbie) Hilbert of Camby and Boyd J. Hilbert of Indianapolis; three grandsons: Dean Belcher Logan Hilbert, and Tommie Vibbert; four great grandchildren: Meridian Tumey, Devin Hilbert-Belcher, Lillian Belcher, and Heaven Hilbert; three great great grandsons: Bently Tumey, Blaze Tumey and Braxton Tumey; one brother, Phillip (Nancy) Jacobs; and several nieces and nephews. Lori is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Ralph R. Hilbert; one son, Russell Hilbert; one brother, Jake Jacobs; and one sister, Bea Simcox.
Lori was a Homemaker. She attended Southeastern Church of Christ in Indianapolis and she also attended Eagles Valley Church of Christ. Lori enjoyed crocheting, knitting, pottery and going out to eat.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, March 8th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm following visitation at the funeral home.Lori will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
