Warren S. "Steve" Franklin, 72, of Camby, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 10th, 2021. He was born February 24th, 1949 in Indianapolis to his parents, Warren and Betty (Knox) Franklin. He married Patricia A. (Rhude) Franklin on June 27th, 1970. He was resident of Mooresville for most of his life.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia A. (Rhude) Franklin of Camby; two sons: Craig Franklin of Lafayette and Adam (Angie) Franklin of Lafayette; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Tim (Alison) Franklin; and sister in law, Lorraine Franklin of Illinois. Steve is preceded in death by both of his parents; two brothers: Phillip Franklin and Victor Franklin; and a daughter in law, Tammy L. Franklin.

Steve was a 1967 graduate of Mooresville High School. He was a Auto Sales Manager for several dealerships in central Indiana for 38 years before retiring in 2012. Steve also worked several years at Wilcher Ford in Mooresville. He most recently worked part time for Fed Ex. Steve was an avid golfer. He loved spending time with his family.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 1:30 to 3 pm on Friday, September 17th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 3pm following visitation at the funeral home. Steve will be laid to rest at Mooresville Cemetery in Mooresville. Services will also be available to be viewed via Facebook live at Jones Family Mortuary Facebook page at the time of services.
