Obituary for Tina Jo Hietberg

Tina Jo Hietberg, 55, of Mooresville, IN, died peacefully with family and her two best friends by her side on May 30, 2013. Tina was born to Thomas Hott Sr. and Jacqueline (Laughlin) Hott on September 14, 1957 in Lebanon, IN. She graduated from Speedway High School in 1976 and attended Medical Assistant School for 2 years. Tina married Merco F. Hietberg Sr. on March 1, 1980 and they had four children, Merco Hietberg Jr., Justin Hietberg, Monica Alvarado and Jennifer Hietberg.

Tina was a School Bus Driver for Mooresville Consolidated Schools for 19 years and a Medical Assistant for Dr. Lovall in Brownsburg for 10 years. She was a Team Mom for everybody for all her kids sports activities, loved road trips with her husband on her Harley, loved horseback riding, being with family, being a spectator at her kids and grandkids games. She has lived in Mooresville for the past 31 years, 22 years in Speedway, IN and a short time in her birthplace of Lebanon, IN.

Tina is survived by her husband of 33 years, Merco F. Hietberg Sr. of Mooresville, IN; three children survive, Justin Hietberg of Speedway, IN, Monica (Brian) Alvarado of Avon, IN and Jennifer Hietberg of Mooresville, IN; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Dayton and Jackson Hietberg and Jayden, Jerzey, Jazmyn and Journey Alvarado; two brothers, Tom Hott Jr. of Mooresville, IN and Don Hott of Pittsboro, IN and a sister, Chris Hott. Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Hott Sr. and Jacqueline (Laughlin) Hott and a son, Merco F. Hietberg Jr.

Family and friends may attend calling hours from 1-6 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2013 and 1-2 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Dave Buckner will officiate a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary. Tina will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery.
