Obituary for Timothy Dale Griffith
Timothy Dale Griffith, 59, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 4th, 2020 surrounded by family. He was born May 8th, 1961 in Beech Grove to his parents, Robert Dale and Nancy Lou (Perry) Griffith. He was a resident of Mooresville for all of his life.
Tim is survived by his one son, Austin; one granddaughter, Scarlet; one sister, Cathy Richardson of Kentucky; three brothers: John Robert Griffith of Mooresville, Terry Lee Griffith of Mooresville, and Joe (Tori) Griffith of Tennessee; nieces and nephews: Ginny R. Clark, Paul Ryan Richardson, Robbie Griffith, Megan Griffith, and Eric Griffith; several cousins, aunts and uncles. Timothy is preceded in death by both of his parents.
Tim was a 1979 graduate of Mooresville High School and attended Purdue University for two years. He was also a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute. Tim was an Auto and Diesel Mechanic for Coca-Cola for seven years. He also worked for NAPA in Indianapolis and LKQ Auto Parts in Avon. He was a member of Eternal Life Tabernacle in Indianapolis. Tim loved to fish and go boating and also enjoyed farming and remained a member of FFA. Into his adult life Tim loved being around his family. He was also a huge Star Trek and Sci-Fi fan.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, October 7th and from 12 to 1 pm on Thursday, October 8th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Pastor Mark Pingleton will officiate a celebration of life service that will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, October 8th at the funeral home. Tim will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
