Steve Barnes everyone knew you, everyone loved you. You truly cherished those you cared about and would go to battle for any of us at anytime.. You could get so fired up and also be so kind. You would help anyone, anytime. You were tough as nails and taught us to be the same. You could sell a car, build a motorcycle, rebuild an engine, race a car, find a deal, tell a story (that was mostly true anyways) this list could go on and on. You were never idle. Always kept busy and always worked hard. You loved the lakes and to be on the water. So many times spent on Cataract and Dale Hollow (your favorite place). You loved your family. You were always happiest when we were all together. We were together often and I’m so thankful for that, especially right now.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
