Shirley A. Soots, 63 years of age passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010. She was born January 8, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Alvis and Mary (Sears) Kingery. Shirley married Russell E. Soots of Mooresville, IN on July 25, 1995.

She lived in Mooresville, IN for 35 years and in Indianapolis, IN for 28 years. Shirley was a 1965 Decatur Central High School Graduate and was an Attendant for the Pink Front Laundry in Mooresville for 9 years.

She is survived by her Husband, Russell E. Soots of Mooresville, IN; 1 Daughter, Kim Harvey; 3 Grandchildren: Jessica Soots and Josie and Michael E. Harvey; 1 Great Grandson, Damien Soots; 2 Brothers, Alvis Ray Kingery and Hubert Chester Kingery; and 1 Sister, Alice Faye Beldon. She is also preceded in death by 1 Son, Russell L. Soots; and 2 Sisters, Barbara Ann Kingery and Dorothy May Kingery.

Calling hours for Shirley will be from 4-8pm, Sunday, July 25, 2010 and 1 hour prior the Funeral Service on Monday at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. The Funeral will be at 10am, Monday, July 26, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. Tim Stuart will officiate the service and Shirley will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery.
