Scott Alan Brumley

Scott Alan Brumley, 53, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, February 20th, 2024. He was born March 4th, 1970 in Indianapolis to his parents William Brumley and Patricia (Huddleston) Hale. He married Michelle Diane (Dee) Brumley on October 18th, 1997. The two met while Scott was working for his mother in law, Pam.

Scott is survived by his wife, Michelle Diane Brumley of Mooresville; two daughters: Taylor Brumley of Camby and Kristi Burton (Josh) of Indianapolis; two granddaughters: Ily Blaschke of Mooresville and Avree Burton of Indianapolis; his canine friend, Gus; step mother, Alice Brumley of Indianapolis; and step father, Jim Hale of Mooresville. Scott is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Scott was a 1988 graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis. He was a Plumber for Mansfield Plumbing in Indianapolis for 14 years. Scott enjoyed hunting, playing golf, football, fishing, and participating in the fantasy football league every year. He had a creative mind and was good at building things. Scott was known by many as a funny man with a fantastic sense of humor. He was loyal, a family man, a great dad who was always there, and was the voice of reason.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday, February 29th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 pm following the visitation at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
