Samuel Aaron Maxwell

Samuel Aaron "Sam" Maxwell, 38, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, August 20th, 2021. He was born February 4th, 1983 in Beech Grove to his parents, Barry Duane and Connie Lorriane (Cromer) Maxwell. He was a resident of Indianapolis for most of his life. Sam is survived by his daughter, Olivia Paige Burdette- Maxwell of Indianapolis; his parents, Barry Duane and Connie Lorriane (Cromer) Maxwell of Indianapolis; one brother, Charlie (Heather Mitchell) Maxwell of Indianapolis; two nephews: Alex and Austin Mitchell; and his true love, Christy Spillman of Indianapolis. Sam is preceded in death by his Granny, Pa and uncle Gary Cromer; grandmother and grandfather, Rosalee and Tom Elrod; Grandpa, Doyle "Hickory" Maxwell; and great grandma, Mimmie Kern. Sam was a 2001 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He was a Salesman for Elite Auto Image in Indianapolis for two years. Sam enjoyed working out, boating, and hunting. He loved to make people laugh and giving back to the community. In his spare time, Sam enjoyed riding and modifying ATV's, motorcycles and vehicles. He was a very hardworking, caring and giving person that was an inspiration to all. Family and friends may show their love and support from 1 to 7 pm on Sunday, August 29th and from 9 to 10 am on Monday, August 30th at Jones Crossing Banquet Center in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 30th at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Cremation to follow services.
