Roy W. Kahrer, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2022. Roy was born on January 3, 1930 in Pennsylvania. He married Donna Rae (Richardson) Kahrer on December 19, 2009.

Roy was a driver for Enterpise at the Indianapolis Airport for 7 years and also a truck driver before retiring. Roy was a musician and was a very talented guitar player since the age of 14, loved country music and was a member of Masonic Lodge #514. Those who knew him knew he was a simple man.

Roy is survived by his wife; son, Daniel Kahrer; 2 step children: Earl (Julie) Helton of Farmersburg, IN and Anthony Helton of Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 1 great, great granddaughter and brother, Ron (Marlene) Kahrer of Florida. Roy is preceded in death by both of his parents and 1 sister.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11am - 1pm, Friday, December 2, 2022 at Jones Family Mortuary, 4165 East Allison Rd. Mooresville, IN 46158. The celebration of life service will be held following the visitation at 1 pm, Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Roy will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
