Robert Allen Jines, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, December 9th, 2022. He was born February 20th, 1951 in Indianapolis to his parents Robert F. and Mary K. (King) Jines.

Robert is survived by his two daughters: Tammy (Raymond Hodges) Young of Plainfield and Tasha (Kitch) Spicer of Carmel; six grandchildren: Selena Lerma of Noblesville, Sierra (Zachary) Thompson of Brownsburg, Nicholas Young of Plainfield, Jordan Hodges of Plainfield, Isabel Spicer of Carmel, and Noah Spicer of Carmel; one great grandson, Enzo Xolio of Noblesville; and the mother of his children, Paula Jines. Robert is preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Richard Jines.

Robert was a 1969 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam war and discharged in 1971. Robert enjoyed golfing and fishing. He also liked to sing karaoke and spending time with his family and friends.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11:30am to 1:00 pm on Friday, December 16th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
