Obituary for Ricky Alan Holland

Ricky Alan Holland, 48, of Mooresville, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 in Morgan County. Rick was born in Rushville, IN on November 3, 1963. He was the son of Judith A. (Martin) Holland of Las Vegas, NV and Robert D. (Lana) Holland of Franklin. Rick married Michelle Dyann (Maskell) Holland on August 15, 1992 in Indianapolis.

Rick was a 1982 graduate of Greensburg Community High School. He had worked as a Locksmith for the State of Indiana, Indianapolis and Cummins Engine, Columbus. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Avon. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was also a big sports fan and loved being in the outdoors. Rick loved life and was a friend to so many people. His wife and daughters were the true joys of his life. They had many memorable vacations, fishing trips and special times together.

Rick is survived by his loving wife; his mother, father and step-mother; daughters: Tara Nicole and Sarah Michelle of Mooresville; brother, Christopher (Jamie) Holland of Avon; step-sister, Brooke (Steve) Lawson of Franklin; maternal grandfather, Ausley Martin of Greensburg; mother-in-law, Sandy Maskell of Camby; father-in-law, Terry Maskell of Camby; brother-in-law, Shane (Michele) Maskell of Camby; nieces: Jillian and Carleigh Holland and Emma Maskell; nephews: Xion and Dane Lawson and Ian Maskell; aunts: Linda Maddux, Shirley Trenkamp and Arlena Sarver; cousins: Terri, Mike, Greg, Jim, Pat, Arleta and Kevin; very special friends: Ben, Amy and Kyle Payton.

Friends and family may call from 3-7pm, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville with private services to follow at 8pm. Terry Crist will be officiating.
