Rev. Thomas B. Ditch, 61, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 with his loving wife, Kathy by his side. He was born November 9th, 1959 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to his parents, Roy and Alice (Thompson) Ditch. He married Kathy (McDannel) Ditch on May 5th, 1979. He was a previous resident of Portage for 20 plus years. Tom was a resident of Camby for 20 years.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of nearly 42 years, Kathy (McDannel) Ditch of Camby; two sons: Jake (Arianna) Ditch of Indianapolis and Nick (Tabitha) Ditch of Wisconsin; and five grandchildren: Katie, Macy, Kendra, Lucy and Ellie. Tom is preceded in death by both of his parents; one daughter, Tiana Marie Ditch; one sister, Kathy Bloss; and one brother, David Ditch.
Tom was a 1977 graduate of Portage High School in Indiana. He later went on and joined the United States Marine Corps serving from 1977 to 1978. Tom was a Gospel Musical Evangelist for 25 years, primarily in the Midwest. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mooresville and the Mooresville American Legion Post 103. Tom was a motorcycle enthusiast and former member of Sons of God Christian Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed spending time with family and loved gospel music.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, January 18th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Tom will be buried at the Marion National Cemetery in Indiana. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
