Obituary for Randel M. (Bumble Bee) King

Randel M. "Bumble Bee" King, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 6, 2012. He was born on September 20, 1940 in Livingston, TN to the late Ambrouse M. and Bonnie Edith (Smith) King. He married Shelby Jean (McKinney) King on November 27, 1965.

Randel lived most of his life in Indianapolis and 18 years in Livingston, TN. He was a sales clerk for Carter Lee Lumber Company in Indianapolis for 30 years before retiring in 1989. Previously, he was a home builder.

He is survived by 3 children: Kathy (Steve) Clarkson of Mooresville, Kenny (Candy) King of Indianapolis, Kristy (John) McCallister of Mooresville; 1 grandson, Dalton Clarkson. He is preceded by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Friends may call from 2-8pm, Monday, April 9, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary and also 9:30-10:30am, Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Funeral services are at 10:30am, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 also at Jones Family Mortuary with Ralph Murray Sr. officiating. Randel will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery.
