Matthew Tyler Gedda, 37, of Melbourne, Florida passed away Friday, March 26th, 2021. He was born July 3rd, 1983 in Indianapolis to his parents Eric "Ric" Gedda and Marissa Lane (Kemp) Milliman, where he grew up. At the age of 17, Matthew moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. He most recently was a resident of Melbourne, Florida.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Marissa Lane (Kemp) Milliman of Citra, Florida; his father, Eric "Ric" Gedda of Rockledge, Florida; two sisters: Rachel (Chris) DePaolo of New Port Richey, Florida and Sarah Finney (Chris) of Rockledge, Florida; one nephew, Kaleb; and nieces: Ariel, Ava and Amelia. Matthew is preceded in death by his brother, Eric Cahill.

Matthew was a Prep Cook for Smokey Bones Restaurant in Melbourne, Florida and loved it. He was a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Matthew loved music and he played the guitar. He enjoyed spending time on the beach with his family. Matthew was a fun and loving man.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 12 pm (noon) to 1 pm on Tuesday, April 6th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm, following visitation at the funeral home. Matthew will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
