Obituary for Margaret K. Ogborn

Margaret K. Ogborn, 88, of Spencer, IN, died on November 6, 2012. Margaret was born on July 24, 1924 in Indianapolis, IN. Margaret married Harlin Ogborn on May 2, 1942.

Margaret was Owner-Operator with Daughter of Crafty Colors Ceramics in Martinsville, IN since 1988. Margaret was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Plainfield, IN. Margaret has lived in Spencer, IN for 12 years and spent most of her life in her birthplace of Indianapolis, IN.

Margaret is survived by 2 daughters, Marilyn (Robert) Scaggs of Spencer, IN & Janet Johns of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter in law, Doris Ogborn; 6 grandchildren, Robin Fisher, Robert & Thomas Scaggs, William & Dale Ogborn & Veronica Hempel; 13 great grandchildren & 4 great great grandchildren; & a sister, Amelia "Boots" (Bob) Scott. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Ezra T. & Beulah M. (Ooley) Jones; husband, Harlin Ogborn; a daughter, Carolyn Sue Ogborn & a son, Michael Ogborn.

Calling hours for Margaret will be from 1-2:30 pm on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Dan Melton will officiate the 2:30 pm funeral service on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Margaret will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
