Obituary for Marcia Lynn Nowacki (Mattingly)
Marcia Lynn (Mattingly) Nowacki, 66, of Monrovia, passed away Tuesday, November 1st, 2022. She was born July 7th, 1956 in Indianapolis. She married David C. Nowacki on July 10th, 1982. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life. She was a past resident of Greenwood for 17 years and was a resident of Monrovia since 1990.
Marcia is survived by her husband, David C. Nowacki of Monrovia; one son, Christopher (Sherry) Nowacki of Indianapolis; four grandchildren: Breanna, Meygan, Jacob, and Jase; and three sisters: Sheila Dick of Bloomington; Terry Lamb of Wabash, and Angie Davis of Shelbyville. Marcia is preceded in death by her father, Beecher Daws; and mother, Regina Louise (Chambers) Beck.
Marcia was a 1974 graduate of Bowling Green High School in Kentucky. She worked in Customer Service for several different companies, including: Fox Photo, Zep, and Balkamp. Marcia was a member of Gracepoint Church in New Whiteland. In her younger years, she loved to go camping, skiing, and hiking. Marcia had a love of music and enjoyed playing the piano. She loved her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews dearly. Marcia was a very kind and generous woman.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 2 to 6 pm on Sunday, November 6th and from 12 noon to 2 pm on Monday, November 7th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm following visitation on Monday, November 7th at the funeral home. Marcia will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
