Obituary for Linda Sue Didot (Martin)
Linda Sue (Martin) Didot, 68, of Fortville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 12th, 2023. She was born November 2nd, 1954 in Indianapolis to her parents Richard Nazareth and Mary Eva (Mastin) Martin. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life, a resident of Mooresville since 1986 and most recently resided in Fortville, Indiana.
Linda is survived by her three children: Melissa (Rob) Hinman of Citrus Springs, Florida, Jacob Didot of Mooresville, and Nicole (Grant) Tozer of Fortville, Indiana; six grandchildren: Sadie Jo, Eva Marie, Gracie Sue, Ken, Libby, and Megan; two siblings; and a sister from another mister. Linda is preceded in death by both of her parents; one infant daughter; one grandson, Shane Nazareth Partlow; and one sister, Anna Marie Martin.
Linda was a 1973 graduate of Decatur Central High School. Most recently she was an Assistant Property Manager at Geist Self Storage in Indianapolis for nine years. She was also a Cashier and Substitute Teacher Coordinator at Mooresville Schools for 22 years before retiring in 2013. Linda loved going to the casino and hitting up the slot machines with her friend, Sandy. She was known by many as a hardworking and determined woman.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, April 17th and from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, April 18th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am following visitation on Tuesday, April 18th at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
