Joe Nicholson, 62, of Whiteland, passed away Thursday, October 12th, 2023. He was born February 10th, 1961 in Danville to his parents Clarence Waymon and Linda (Spurlin) Nicholson. He married Rachel E. (Dorris) Nicholson on March 2nd, 1996. Joe was a previous resident of Danville for 18 years and resided in Whiteland for the past 20 years.

Joe is survived by his wife, Rachel E. Nicholson of Whiteland; four sons: Noah J. (MeKayla) Nicholson of Greenwood, Luke Z. Nicholson of Greenwood, Levi W. Nicholson of Whiteland, and Bill J. (Katherine) Nicholson of Montana; two daughters: Desiree Nicholson of Indianapolis and Angela (Tyler) Hawkins of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; mother, Linda Nicholson of Mooresville; step father, Jack Tate of Mooresville; two brothers: Tony (Angela) Nicholson of Greencastle and John James of Camby; and one nephew, Josh Nicholson. Joe is preceded in death by his father, Waymon Nicholson.

Joe was a graduate of Danville High School. He later attended Kelly Business School and obtained his Associates Degree. Joe was a Project Manager for Home Stretch in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of Brownsburg Apostolic Church in Brownsburg. Joe enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially hunting. Larry loved spending time with his family.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, October 19th at Jones Family Mortuary. Private graveside services will be held at Fairfield Friends Cemetery in Camby.
