Obituary for Kent A McDonald
Kent A "Big Mac" McDonald, 61, of Mooresville, passed away Sunday, November 8th, 2020 surrounded by family. He was born September 18th, 1959 in Bedford to his parents Samuel and Grace (Pritchett) McDonald, where he lived for 17 years. He married Sandra (Marlett) McDonald on June 20th, 1981. He previously was a resident of Indianapolis for four years, but was a resident of Mooresville for most of his life.
Kent is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sandra (Marlett) McDonald of Mooresville; one son, Joshua (Brittany) McDonald of Monrovia; one daughter, Amber (Fred) Daniel of Mooresville; 6 grandchildren: Bianca, Cheyenne and Grayce Daniel, Claire, Samuel and Reed McDonald; two sisters, Judie Meadows of Bedford and Donna Woods of Bedford. Kent is preceded in death by both of his parents; one sister, Janet Sue McDonald; and one brother, James Keith McDonald.
Kent is a 1977 Graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School. He was an HVAC Service Technician for 38 years for Sears and Roebuck in Indianapolis before retiring in 2014. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, Harley riding, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, November 12th at Jones Family Mortuary for a memorial gathering. There will be no service at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
