Obituary for Karen E. Stout

Karen E. Stout, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2014. Karen was born to Henry & Evelyn (Lukacek) Holec on February 27, 1963 in Englewood, NJ.

Karen was an advocate for rescue animals. She has lived in California and Indiana most of her life.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Kasey Stueber of Indianapolis; mother, Evelyn Holec of Camby; a sister, Dr. Susan (Dr. Terry Iwasko) Holec-Iwasko of Brownsburg; two nieces, Mariah & Kristina Iwasko of Brownsburg; a nephew, Jeremy Iwasko of Brownsburg and a fiance, Stan Holtman of Carmel. Karen is preceded in death by her father, Henry G. Holec.

Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2014 and 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, July 16. 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Father John Koen will officiate the 11 a.m. celebration of life service on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary.
