Obituary for Karen M Martin (Hasselburg)
Karen M (Hasselburg) Martin, 63, of Camby, passed away Wednesday, July 1st, 2020. She was born February 13th, 1957 in Indianapolis to her parents Hiram and Janet (Archer) Hasselburg. She married Thomas Martin on September 11th, 1999. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of nearly 21 years, Thomas Martin of Camby; her mother, Janet (Archer) Hasselburg of Indianapolis; three children: Kimberly (Matt) MacKinnon of Lebanon, Mark (Kristen) Thompson of Mooresville, and Sheila (Michael) Hamilton of Mooresville; two step sons: Thomas (Stacy) Abel of Franklin and Dustin (Mallory) Abel of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Randy (Tonya) Hasselburg of Cumberland; and one sister, Cheryl (Rick) Ruble of Indianapolis. Karen is preceded in death by her father, Hiram Hasselburg.
Karen was a 1976 graduate of Ben Davis High School. She worked for Inventory Control for Foxconn in Plainfield for 12 years. Karen enjoyed camping, shopping and spending time with her family.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 10th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary.
