Obituary for Julie Ann Wiser

Julie Ann (Even) Wiser, 58, of Mooresville, IN, died on Thursday, January 1, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Julie was born on November 3, 1956 in Sioux Falls, SD to Alvin and Joan Even.

Upon her graduation from Mooresville High School in 1975, Julie worked as a Secretary at Krieg, DeVault, Alexander & Capehart for 14 years. As her children grew, she served as a Teacher at Children's Park Child Care Center for eight years and as a School Nurse at Newby Memorial Elementary School for 11 years.

Julie was happily married to Brian Wiser for 30 years and was a wonderful mother to four girls. She was an avid lover of music and working with children but her greatest joys came from spending time with all of her family. With a constant smile on her face, Julie was able to make anyone laugh and will forever be remembered as an unselfish, loving and loyal friend. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She has lived in Mooresville for most of her life.

Julie is preceded in death by her father, Alvin Even; daughter Andra Leigh Wiser; and father-in-law Randall Wiser. She is survived by her husband Brian and three daughters, Cassidy (27), Shelby (25) and Mackenzie (24); mother, Joan Even; sisters Sharon Korn, Sandy Berney, Jill Wheeler, Jackie Robertson, and two brothers, Dan Even and Greg Even. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members.

Family and friends may gather from 3-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 and 10-11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Dave Thurman will officiate the 11 a.m. celebration of life memorial service on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Morgan County Humane Society or Newby Elementary Library Book Fund; please make checks payable to Brian Wiser, 32 West High St., Mooresville, IN 46158.
