Obituary for Julie Ann Jeffers (Small)

Julie Ann (Small) Jeffers, 64, of Plainfield, passed away Thursday, September 9th, 2021. She was born August 31st, 1957 in Indianapolis to her parents, Randall and Susan (Jaynes) Small. She married Ralph Jeffers on May 1st. 1998. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life.

Julie is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Ralph Jeffers of Plainfield; her daughter Kyle Taylor Keller of Indianapolis; her mother, Susan Small of Camby; one brother, Craig Small of Camby; several cousins, nieces and nephews; a special relationship with Marley and her previous husband and father to Kyle, Steve Taylor. Julie is preceded in death by her father, Randall Small.

Julie was a 1975 graduate of Decatur Central High School. She worked as a Secretary for many years. Julie was an artist and took great pride in being very gifted at sketching. She was also the only female member of The Punkin Holler Boys. Julie loved being around horses and loved to ride them. She also was a dedicated 4-H leader as well. Julie was known for greatly loving her family and being supportive of others. She will be remembered for being the one to always willingly lend a helping hand to those around her.

Family and friends may show their love and support for a memorial gathering from 1 to 5 pm on Sunday, October 17th at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 5pm following the gathering at the banquet center. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
