Julie Ann Hansel, 49, of Camby, passed away Monday, May 24th, 2021. She was born February 15th, 1972 in Jamestown, Tennessee to her parents, Alonzo Lloyd and Kathy (Wilson) Hansel. She married Crystal Burns on March 22nd, 2015. Julie resided in West Newton for most of her life.

Julie is survived by her wife of 6 years, Crystal Burns of Camby; her mother, Kathy (Wilson) Hansel of West Newton; her son Dakota Murrieta of Camby; her step-daughter, Crystal Murrieta of Camby; many cousins, uncles, and aunts. Julie is preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Lloyd Hansel; her maternal grandparents: Penny and James Wilson; and paternal grandparents: Mary and Sam Hansel.

Julie was a 1990 graduate of Decatur Central High School. She was a natural caregiver, who was always there to help anyone. Julie enjoyed working in the yard. She was an avid online poker player.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 4th at West Newton Worship and Youth Center, 7860 Mooresville Rd Camby, IN. Russell Wilson will officiate the service following the visitation at 7:00 pm. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
