Obituary for Joseph Mark Weigman

Joseph Mark Weigman, 60, of Camby, passed away on May 28, 2012 in Meadow Lakes. He was born on September 1, 1951 in Louisville, KY to the late Joseph Martin Weigman and Marie Ilardo Weigman.

Mark lived 27 years in Camby. He was a 1973 graduate of Cornell University where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to Indianapolis, IN in September of 1984 to work for Allison Turbine and stayed with the company through its acquistion by Rolls Royce where he fininshed his career as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer.

Mark was a long-time parishioner at St. Thomas More Church in Mooresville where he was noted for his volunteer work. He was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, Council 7431, and a Past Grand Knight.

Mark is survived by 2 brothers, Stewart Matthew of London, England and Brice Martin of Belfast, New York and one sister, Christina Browning of Ridgefield, Connecticut; eight nieces and nephews, Sarah Weigman of Alexandria, Virginia, Emma and Clare Weigman of Putnam Valley, New York, Alex and Andrew Weigman of Belfast, New York and Tess Caspar & Sophie Browning of Ridgefield, Connecticut. He is preceded in death by 1 brother, Eric Michael Weigman.

There will be a Memorial Service at St. Thomas More Church in Mooresville, IN at 1:00pm Saturday June 2, 2012, with visitation in the Church Hall from 10:00am.
