Obituary for Joseph S. "Jody" Ingle Sr.

Joseph S. "Jody" Ingle Sr., 74, of Camby, passed away Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. He was born July 24th, 1948 in Indianapolis to his parents Junis S. and Ida (Blaylock) Ingle. He was married to the late Imojean (Marlowe) Ingle on November 11th, 1967. He was a resident of Camby for most of his life.

Jody is survived by his son, Joseph S. Ingle Jr. of Greenwood; one daughter, Cynthia Ingle of Camby; four grandchildren: Craig McKinney, Alex McKinney, Kacey Ingle and Joseph J. Ingle; one great granddaughter, Mackenzi; his parents: Junis and Ida Ingle; one sister, Deborah Demeter of Florida; and one brother, Michael Ingle of Greenwood. Jody is preceded in death by his wife, Imojean Ingle; and two brothers: David and John Richard Ingle.

Jody was a 1966 graduate of Mooresville High School. He was a Press Operator for RCA in Indianapolis for 25 years. Jody also did small engine repair for Sears for 15 years. He also was a forklift operator for Conagra in Indianapolis for 20 years and retired in 2019. Jody was a member of the NRA and enjoyed everything outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and archery. He attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 1st and from 9 to 10 am on Wednesday, November 2nd at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, November 2nd following visitation at the funeral home. Jody will be laid to rest at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye, Indiana.
