Obituary for Johnny Allen Wetzel
Johnny Allen Wetzel, 55, of Camby, passed away Monday, March 14th, 2022. He was born January 20th, 1967 in Indianapolis to his parents, Johnnie Alan and Norma Belle (Gibson) Wetzel. He was a resident of Camby for most of his life.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Shanah (Barr) Wetzel of Camby; three children: Maria Wetzel of Camby, Elizabeth (Josh Bruce) Wetzel of Camby; and Sara (Devin Ferrand) Wetzel of Camby; seven grandchildren: Myah, Trenton, Makinzie, Makaylee, Maverick, Wyatt, and Brantlee; his mother, Norma Belle (Roland) Wetzel of Camby; three brothers: Jimmy Wetzel, Billie Wetzel, and Jade Wetzel; and one sister, Regina Wetzel. Johnny is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Alan Wetzel.
Johnny was a Supervisor at Allison's Payment Systems. He enjoyed working in construction, especially building homes, framing, and decks. Johnny really loved to ride his motorcycle and even took pride in building model cars. He was an avid gun collector and when he wasnt doing that he enjoyed playing his guitar. Johnny loved his family dearly.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, March 19th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Johnny will be laid to rest at West Ridge Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
