Obituary for Joe S. Williams

Joe S. Williams, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on Aug. 29, 2014. Joe was born to Delvin and Mary (Callahan) Williams on May 21, 1958 in Martinsville. Joe is married to Tina Marie (Bee) Williams.

For the past 12 years, Joe was a Custodian at Dicks Sports Goods Warehouse in Plainfield. He enjoyed fishing and nature hiking. He has lived in Mooresville for most of his life.

Joe is survived by his wife, Tina Marie (Bee) Williams of Indianapolis; a son, John (Lindy) Williams of Mooresville; a daughter, Joanna (Cory) Browning of Indianapolis; mother, Mary Williams of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Erin, Jessie, Logan and Nikki and a sister, Tammy Hill of Greenwood. Joe is preceded in death by his father, Delvin Williams and first wife, Robin Sue (Austin) Williams.

Family and friends may gather from 11-12 noon, Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Dave Thurman will officiate the 12 noon celebration of life service on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Joe will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
