Obituary for James R. Wheeler
James R. Wheeler, 81, of Camby, IN, died on October 5, 2012. James was born to Fred Wheeler & Gertie Jane (Rennard) Bray on June 29, 1931 in Dugger, IN. James graduated from Dugger High School in 1950. James was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. James married Mary H. (Meurer)Wheeler on June 22, 1951.
James was a Milwright for the Chrysler Foundry in Indianapolis, IN for 26 years, retiring in 1991. James enjoyed camping. James has lived in Camby, IN for most of his life.
James is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary H. (Meurer) Wheeler of Camby, IN; 2 children, Beth (Joe) Lybarger of Mooresville, IN & Bret Wheeler of North Salem, IN; 6 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Wheeler & Gertie Jane (Rennard) Bray.
The families wishes were not to have any services. James will be laid to rest at Dugger Cemetery.
