Obituary for James L. Hoyt

James L. Hoyt, 63, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2014. James was born to Gustave and Phyllis (Fordyce) Hoyt on November 10, 1950 in Indianapolis. James was a Manuel High School Graduate.

James was a Federal Security Officer for DECO Company in Indianapolis for 12 years. He loved NASCAR racing and football. He has been a lifetime resident of Indianapolis.

James is survived by two daughters, Angela Bolanos of Indianapolis and Kelly (Ryan) Johnson of Camby; three grandchildren, Mia Hoyt, Kaitlyn McMurray and Christopher Johnson; a brother, Michael (Mary Ann) Hoyt of FL and a sister, Linda (John) Smith of Bedford. James is preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Phyllis (Fordyce) Hoyt and a brother, Richard Hoyt.

Family and friends may attend a memorial gathering from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville.
