James Dale "Jimmy" Edwards, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, May 29th, 2021. He was born July 5th, 1959 in Indianapolis to his late father, Kenneth Dale Edwards and his mother, Marilyn (Ganote) Edwards. He was a life-long resident of Indianapolis.

Jimmy is survived by his mother, Marilyn (Ganote) Edwards; one brother, Charles Lynn Edwards; three uncles: Len, Paul, and John Ganote; three aunts: Anita Siler, Mary Crofts, and Linda Ford; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dale Edwards.

Jimmy attended Mooresville High School and was a member of the American Legion. He frequently listened to country music and especially enjoyed George Jones. He was a huge racing and baseball fan and attended many Indianapolis Indians games. He loved working on computers and was described as very social and a loyal friend.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 10 am -11 am with funeral services following at 11 am on Friday June 4th at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Jimmy will be laid to rest at Washington Park North Cemetery. Pastor Rodney Walker will officiate the services.
