Gloria Kathryn "Kathy" Orme, 64, of Indianapolis, IN, died on October 12, 2012. Gloria Kathryn "Kathy" Orme was born to Jesse E. Risk Jr. & Mildred L. (Hawkins) Risk on May 8, 1948 in Indianapolis, IN. Kathy married Steve A. Orme on September 26, 1970.

Kathy was a self-employed Seamstress for Affordable Alterations in Indianapolis, IN for 4 years, retiring in 2010. Kathy has lived in Indianapolis, IN all of her life. Kathy was an Order of Eastern Star member and enjoyed sewing and BMX Racing.

Kathy is survived by a daughter, Phyllis (Ed) Haley of Rome, OH; a son, Chad Orme of Greenwood, IN; 3 grandchildren, Arie & Brennan Haley of Rome, OH & Mahaley Orme of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Frances Grounds of Mooresville, IN & a best friend, Regena Baker of Monrovia, IN. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse E. Risk Jr. & Mildred L. (Hawkins) Risk; husband, Steve A. Orme & a brother, Jesse Eugene Risk.

Calling for Kathy will be from 4-8pm, Friday, October 19, 2012 & 9-10am, Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. The 10am funeral service will be on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Kathy will be laid to rest at Acton Cemetery.
