Obituary for Gerald A. "Jerry" Hardwick

Gerald Allen "Jerry" Hardwick, 55, of Pittsboro, IN passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born August 4, 1959 in Ferguson, KY.

Jerry was a current resident of Pittsboro for the past 34 years and previously Ferguson, KY for 21 years. Jerry was a Tool and Die maker for Link Belt Bearing Plant for 14 years. Jerry attended West Newton Worship and Youth Center, enjoyed camping, boating, hunting and spending time with his family.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty Hardwick of Pittsboro; 3 children: Amy Jo (Ben) Andrew, Gerald D. "Jerry" (Jada) Hardwick and John A. (Ashley) Hardwick; 6 granddaughters; 1 grandson and 3 step granddaughters; father, James C. Hardwick; 4 brothers and 3 sisters., He is also preceded by his mother, Imogene (Abbott) Hardwick and brother in law, Butch Cooper.,

Family and friends may gather 4:00 pm 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at West Newton Worship and Youth Center, 7860 Mooresville Road, Camby, IN 46113. Pastor Tony Cannon will officiate the Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at West Newton Worship and Youth Center. There will also be visitation at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, KY 42503 from 2 pm to 4 pm, April 23, 2015 with Brother Price officiating the 4 pm Celebration of Life Service. Jerry will be laid to rest in Liberty Cemetery in Kidder, KY. Jones Family Mortuary is handling arrangements.
