Emogene Chisham, 83 years of age passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010. She was born on December 10, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Tilford and Vanda (Twyman)Williams. Emogene married the late James Russell Chisham Sr. on September 22, 1942.

She lived in Indianapolis, IN for most of her life. Emogene was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was also a Homemaker.

She is survived by 5 Children: Russ Chisham Jr. of Edinburgh, IN, Dan Chisham of Indianapolis, IN, Jeff Chisham of Morristown, IN, Kim Lamb of Indianapolis, IN, and Troy Chisham of Indianapolis, IN; 16 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandson; 1 Brother, Dale Williams of Coatsville, IN; and 4 Sisters: Wanda Doan of Indianapolis, IN, Barbara Dube of Fishers, IN, Euna Pittman of Carmel, IN and Judy Connell of Indianapolis, IN.

There will be calling hours for Emogene from 6-7pm, March 24, 2010 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 6341 Mann Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46221. There will be a Memorial Service for her at 7pm, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN. John Dunaway will officiate the service.
