Obituary for Emma L. West

Emma L. West,85, Camby, went to be with the Lord with family by her side on March 11, 2015. Emma was born to Ralph Storms and Bessie Storms on Oct. 28, 1929 in Indianapolis. Emma was a Mooresville High School Graduate. Emma married Paul L. West Sr. on Nov. 10, 1946.

Emma was a Homemaker. She was a member of West Newton Worship and Youth Center. She has lived in Camby for most of her life.

Emma is survived by a son, Paul L. (Janet) West Jr. of Underwood; seven daughters, Glenda J. (Donald) Hill of Martinsville, Gail L. (Jerry Sr.) Tolle of TX, Paula S. (Robert) Day of MO, Cindy I. Baldwin of Camby, Juanita L. (Wesley) Winberg of Danville, Charlotte A. (Randall) Squires of Indianapolis and Tracy J. (Richard) Cornforth of Indianapolis; 34 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Storms of Indianapolis. Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Storms and Bessie Storms Goodwin; husband, Paul L. West Sr.; sister, Pearlie Smith; two brothers, Harvey and Ralph "Buddy" Storms; a son-in-law, Charles Baldwin and two great grandchildren, Angie Garrett and Jericho Winberg.

Family and friends may gather from 3-8 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2015 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville and 11 a.m. - 12 noon, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Chapel Rock Christian Church, 2020 N. Girls School Road, Indianapolis, IN 46214. A son-in-law, Pastor Jerry Tolle Sr will officiate the 12 noon celebration of life service on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Chapel Rock Christian Church, Indianapolis. Emma will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
