Emma Z. (Zügel) Dahl, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, November 13th, 2022. She was born December 11th, 1928 in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany to her parents Friedrich and Karoline (Horlacher) Zügel. She was married to the late William T. Dahl. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life.

Emma is survived by her two children: Judy (Gary) Pierle of Indianapolis and Larry (Paula Scott) Dahl of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Lori Handel of Germany. Emma is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, William T. Dahl; one daughter, Carolyn Davis; one sister; and two brothers.

Emma was an Assembly Line Operator for Western Electric for 25 years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, and visiting the casino. Emma was a very thoughtful and caring person, who always put others ahead of herself. She loved her family.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 2-4pm, Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Per Emma's wishes she will be cremated and a private burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant- Glenn's Valley in Greenwood.
