Obituary for Effie M. Kearns

Effie M. Kearns, 90, Mooresville, died on Sunday, July 29, 2012 in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Effie was born on January 9, 1922 in Indianapolis, IN. Effie was married to the late Willard Kearns.

Effie lived most of her life in Indianapolis and in Mooresville since 2007. Effie was a 1940 graduate of Manual High School, homemaker, and member of Westside Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis, IN.

Effie is survived by 2 children: Kenneth Kearns of Gosport, IN and Merrilee Paige of Illinois; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and 1 brother, Bud Short of CA. She is preceded by her parents; husband, Willard Kearns; 1 daughter, Kay Kearns and 1 grandson, Bryan Bain II.

Calling hours for Effie will be 10-11am, Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Patye Bridget will officiate the 11am funeral service on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Effie will be buried in Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
