Obituary for Dorothy Mae Stewart (Wille)
Dorothy Mae (Wille) Stewart, 90, of Camby, passed away Wednesday, April 14th, 2021. She was born March 18th, 1931 in Indianapolis to her parents, Emil Edward and Ruth Josephine (Strausburg) Wille, where she lived for 34 years. She married James Robert Stewart on April 25th, 1952. She was a resident of Camby for most of her life.
Dorothy is survived by her nephew, Steve (Bobbie) Harris of Camby; and several great and great great nieces and nephews. Dorothy is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, James Robert Stewart; one sister, Martha Harris; one brother, Emil Edward Wille Jr; one niece, Beverly Coughlan of Waverly; and one great great nephew, Luke Harris.
Dorothy was an Administrative Assistant for AARP in Indianapolis for 11 years before retiring in 1993. She previously was a Supervisor for Kiefer Stewart Drug Company in Indianapolis for 29 years. Dorothy was a former member of Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed flower gardening. Dorothy also enjoyed spending time with her pets, Dexter the dog and Lulu the cat.
A private service will be held at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Family and friends may show their love and support at 2pm on Saturday, April 17th for a graveside service at West Union Cemetery in Monrovia. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband Bob.
