David John "Dave" Niksich, 43, of Paragon, passed away Friday, January 7th, 2022. He was born March 9th, 1978 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents, Paul Matthew and Linda Faye (Hall) Niksich, where he lived for 20 years. He married the love of his life, Jessica (Taber) Niksich on September 2nd, 2018.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of three years, Jessica (Taber) Niksich of Paragon; one daughter, Lillian Marie Niksich; his parents: Paul and Linda Niksich; one brother, Scott Niksich; and his furry friend, Maggie.

Dave was a 1996 graduate of Marion Catholic High School. In 2001 he graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University. Dave was a Registered Nurse and worked as a Travel Nurse for 8 years. He attended Traders Point Christian Church. Dave was a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan and played hockey at Purdue University. After playing in college he continued playing in recreational leagues. Dave's life was centered around his family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, nephew and uncle. Dave loved to share his life and traveling experiences with others, especially his wife and daughter.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 2 to 5 pm on Thursday, January 13th at his family residence. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dave's memory to his daughter, Lillian's college fund c/o Jessica Niksich.
