Coby Joseph Nichols, 20, of Mooresville, passed away Monday, February 14th, 2022. He was born January 15th, 2002 in Mooresville to his parents, Joseph C. "Joe" and Angelia D. "Angie" (Carter) Nichols. He was a lifelong resident of Mooresville.

Coby is survived by both of his parents, Joe and Angie Nichols of Mooresville; one brother, Christian (Chelsie) Nichols of Mooresville; paternal grandmother, Myrtle (Larry) Bassett of Plainfield; paternal grandmother, Paula Nichols of Brazil, Indiana; maternal grandfather, Ted (Linda "Nana") Carter of Martinsville; maternal grandmother, Elaine Ingram of Mooresville; maternal great grandmother, Maybelle Muir of Martinsville; and nieces and nephews: Kaydence, Brantley, and Nova. Coby is preceded in death by his grandfather, Maynard Nichols

Coby was a 2020 graduate of Mooresville High School. He was a Black Jack Dealer. Coby enjoyed working on cars and loved to listen to music. Rap was his favorite. He had a love of baseball and played on a travel league. Coby was an amateur tattoo artist.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 2 to 3 pm on Wednesday, February 23rd at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Coby will be laid to rest at Mooresville Cemetery in Mooresville. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
