Claude Johnson, 73, of Mooresville, IN, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2013. Claude was born to Alfred & Daisy (Ely) Johnson on April 29, 1939 in Pennington Gap, VA. Claude married Wanda Nadine (Fee) Johnson in 1958.

Claude was a Foreman for Olin Brass in Indianapolis, IN for 40 years, retiring in 1998. Claude has lived in Mooresville, IN for most of his life. Claude attended New Life in Christ in Mooresville, IN.

Claude is survived by 3 children, Timothy Wayne Johnson of Camby, IN, Tamara (Ron) Lynette Early of Mooresville, IN & Michael (Tabitha) Lynn Johnson of Camby, IN; 6 grandchildren, Amanda Burnette, John Johson, Tyler Early, John, Brady & Brett Johnson;3 great grandchildren, Cali, Makenzie & Gavin; a brother, Jerry Johnson; 6 sisters, Ruth Keenan, Delephene Ball, Lucille Richardson, Louise Carter, Burnett Carter & Geneva Carter. Claude is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Daisy (Ely) Johnson; his wife, Wanda Nadine (Fee) Johnson; a daughter, Wanda Johnson; a son, Arnold Johnson & a brother, Billy David Johnson.

Calling hours for friends and family will be from 2-8 pm, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 & 10-11 am, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, in Mooresville, IN. Bill Rooker will officiate the 11 am Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center.
