Obituary for Brenda G. (Garrett) Qualizza
Brenda G. (Garrett) Qualizza, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, December 24th, 2021. She was born June 16th, 1949 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to her parents, Hobart and Arlene (Garrett) Garrett. She married Joseph W. Qualizza on June 25th, 1988.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Joseph W. Qualizza of Indianapolis; three children: Michael Harrison of Indianapolis, Eleise Kinnick of Indianapolis, and Elizabeth married to Bruce Keith of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren: Joseph, Jayden and Payton, Brooke, Nathan, Taylor, Todd, Chase, Whitney, and Isabella; two great granddaughters: Suri and Savvy; three sisters: Wanda Lloyd, Diane Autry, and Angie Jett; and two brothers: Hobart Garrett Jr and Chris Garrett. Brenda is preceded in death by both of her parents; one son, Steven Michael Harrison; and two brothers: Mack Garrett and Richard Garrett.
Brenda attended Monrovia High School. She was an Assembly Line Worker for Jenn-Air Corp in Indianapolis for 18 years before retiring in 1996. After retiring, Brenda worked at Humana Women’s Hospital for 11 years and retired from there in 2007. Brenda was a hardworking lady. She enjoyed gardening, feeding ducks, making jewelry and working with arts and crafts. Brenda also enjoyed watching movies with her husband. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 12 noon, Thursday, December 30th, 2021 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. The celebration of life will follow the visitation at 12 noon in the Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary.
