BreAnna Roemer Newman or as most called her, Bre/Breezy, 37, Brooklyn, was a courageous woman who had the world at her finger tips. She passed away unexpectedly, December 17th, 2019. She was born in Indianapolis on June 29th, 1982 to her parents, William and Janet (Gregory) Roemer. On March 8th, 2010 she married Jamie Newman. She was a resident of Monrovia for 26 years and lived in Brooklyn for 11 years.
Bre is survived by her loving husband of nearly 10 years, Jamie Newman of Brooklyn; four children, Maddy Roemer of Columbus, Memphis Beatty, Lundynn Beatty, and Sicily Beatty of Eminence; three step children, Brittany Newman of Martinsville, Brandon Newman of Indianapolis, and Haley Newman of Martinsville; her mother, Janet Roemer of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; one brother, Corbin Roemer of Mooresville; 3 nephews; and one niece. Bre is preceded in death by her father, William Roemer and one sister Charina Farnsworth.
Not only was she a mother of four children, she was a loving friend, a wife, a daughter, a step mother to three children, a grand mother, and an aunt. A woman of many titles, many stories, and such a caring heart. Many who know Bre have quite a story to tell as her humor was out of this world. She was known for her personality, her intelligence, and most importantly her heart. Underneath her internal battles, her struggles, and her experiences, she had a heart of gold that loved others so deeply. There may be a side of her that some know and others do not, but all know how truly contagious her energy was when she was at her best. Though her path may have changed, she was a fighter.
Bre was a 2000 graduate of Monrovia High School. She was formerly a waitress and had also been a teller at Citizens bank for about three years.
She fought long and she fought hard, and deserves the privilege to have a celebration of life, as she wanted. Bre loved being surrounded by family and friends, which is what will be taking place on December 30th at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Mooresville. BreAnna's husband, mother, kind friends and family are working effortlessly to ensure that her life is celebrated to reminisce on the good times, nothing less.
Due to the circumstances and her death being unexpected, near the holidays, and tragic it is difficult to make it all come together. This link is being handled by a family friend, one who grew up with the Bre we all loved and adored. If you would like to contribute to support BreAnna’s friends and family in handling her arrangements it would be extremely appreciated. This money will help with her cremation, services, and a beautiful urn for her to rest in. https://www.gofundme.com/f/5zp2d4-funeral-expenses?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=sms&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet
