Obituary for Bonita L. (Bonnie) Brown

Bonita L. "Bonnie" Brown, 61, Mooresville, passed away on August 3, 2012 in Indiana University Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to Billy L. and Betty L. (Kissner) Cole. She married John I. Brown on August 5, 1972.

Bonita lived most of her life in Mooresville, 8 years in Avon and 15 years in Plainfield. She was a Day Care Worker at LCK Day Care for 3 years, 1969 graduate of Avon High School, member of Mooresville First United Methodist Church and Prayer Group, collected bells, loved shopping and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Bonita is survived by her fiance, Fred Forshee; 2 daughters: Michele (Bryan) Olson of Mooresville and Kristi (Michael) Thompson of Plainfield; mother, Betty L. Cole of Brownsburg; brother, Brian (Donna) Cole of Florida and 5 grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her husband and father.

Visitation for Bonita will be 4-8pm, Monday, August 6, 2012 and 9:30-10:30am on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, Mooresville, next to Jones Family Mortuary. Rev. Dennis Payton will officiate the 10:30 Funeral Service also at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Bonita will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
