Betty I. Dee, 81 years of age passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009. She was born October 9, 1927 in Hazeldell, IL to the late Frank Rogers and Beatrice (Applegate) Rogers. Betty married the late James L. Dee on November of 1946.

She has lived in Camby, IN for 4 years; Indianapolis, IN for 40 years; and in Queen Valley, AZ for 20 years. She was in the Red Hat Society, Indianapolis Order of the Eastern Star, and was also an artist. Before retiring in 1985, she was a Personnel Director for Riley Tar and Chemical in Indianapolis, IN for 25 years.

She is survived by her Son, Michael (Pam) Dee of Camby, IN; 2 Granddaughters, Jennifer Ricketts of Mooresville, IN and Michelle Brumley of Camby, IN; 4 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter; 2 Sisters, Merle Fisher of IL and Patsy McKinney of AZ. She is also preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Jack and William Rogers.

Betty requested to be cremated and that there not to be any services. A family graveside service will take place in Illinois at a later date.
