Bernadean Wells, 84, of Mooresville, IN, died on August 16, 2012. Bernadean was born to Alfred & Grace (Chaney) Mayfield on March 1, 1928 in Somerset, KY. Bernadean married Charles F. Wells on December 24, 1947.Bernadean was a Cafeteria Cook for Wayne Township Schools for 17 years, retiring in 1989. Bernadean was a member of Bridgeport Central Baptist Church. Bernadean enjoyed singing & sewing.Bernadean is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles F. Wells of Mooresville, IN; 3 daughters, Brenda (Darrell) Roach of Bloomfield, IN, Linda (Keith) Bohanon of Indianapolis, IN & Marsha (Scott) Cline of Indianapolis, IN; 8 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Wanda Baker, Phyllis Whitaker & June Hall, all of KY & Helen Raney of Mooresville, IN; & a brother, Sherrill Mayfield of KY. Bernadean was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Grace (Chaney) Mayfield; a sister, Jeane Harp & 2 brothers, Willard & Marvin Mayfield.Calling for Bernadean will be from 4-7pm, Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN.
