Benjamin Reid "Ben" Drake, 27, of Trafalger, passed away Sunday, February 5th, 2023. He was born April 4th, 1995 in Terre Haute to his parents Robert Edward and Brenda Sue (Winters) Drake, where he lived for 4 years. He was a resident of Decatur Township for 20 years.

Ben is survived by both of his parents: Robert Edward and Brenda Sue (Winters) Drake of Houston, Alabama; his two brothers: Caleb (Danielle) Drake and Alec Drake; his grandmothers: Shirley Ann Drake and Sharon Sue Winters. Ben is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Donald Wayne Drake and George Thomas Winters.

Ben was a 2013 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Fishers Excavation in Johnson County. Ben loved hunting, fishing, singing, dancing, riding atvs, enjoying the outdoors and hanging with friends and family. He was known by many as the 'life of the party'. Ben loved his two dogs, Remi and Dozer.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, February 9th and from 9 to 10 am on Friday, February 10th at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, 4161 East Allison Road, Mooresville, Indiana 46158. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 am following visitation on Friday, February 10th at the banquet center. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
