Obituary for Brenda Sue Nunnally (Mauck)
Brenda Sue (Mauck) Nunnally, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, June 25th, 2020. She was born July 9th, 1950 in Richmond to her parents, Urban and Dessie (Cummings) Mauck. She married Danny Nunnally on October 24th, 1970. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Danny Nunnally of Indianapolis; three children: Tina (James) Henderson of Franklin, Melissa (Michael) Smith of Paragon, and Jamie Nunnally of Lebanon; five grandchildren: Ray, Aaron, Gabriella, Nicolas and Alyssa; and one brother, Marvin Melton. Brenda is preceded in death by both of her parents; and two sisters: Patsy Bryant and Betty Welty.
Brenda was a 1968 graduate of Ben Davis High School. She was a Homemaker and once the children were grown she went and worked for the license branch as a Clerk. Brenda was a past member of Mt. Gilead Church and was a very spiritual woman. She loved Elvis and had the privilege of visiting Graceland. She wrote poems and eventually had a couple of them published.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, July 1st and from 10 to 11 am on Thursday, July 2nd at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Chaplain Phillip Parker will officiate a celebration of life service at 11 am on Thursday, July 2nd at the funeral home. Brenda will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
