Obituary for Pam J. Maurer (Ascherman)
Pam J. (Ascherman) Maurer, 73, of Mooresville, IN, formerly of Indianapolis, Greenwood and Rising Sun was called home to the Lord on December 13, 2019. She was born in Milan, IN on June 24, 1946 to the late Virgil and Ruth (Snyder) Ascherman. She married Thomas "Tom" E. Maurer on May 28, 1965.
Pam was a 1964 graduate of Rising Sun High School. She was a secretary for Rexnord in Indianapolis for almost 30 years. She worked for IPS Energy in Bargersville, IN as Senior Support Specialist. Pam was on the Board of Directors for Link Federal Credit Union, was an avid reader, and enjoyed going to the casino with her granddaughter, Brittany.
Pam is survived by her husband; son, Brian (Jana) Maurer; granddaughter, Brittany Maurer; and sister, Donna Fogle of Rising Sun. Pam is preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Brown.
Family and friends may show their love and support for Pam from 4-8 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 and 9:30-10:30, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Dennis Payton will officiate the celebration of life service at 10:30 am, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Funeral Home. Pam will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery.
